Let the pictures do the talking

brilliant!

When doing sump gaskets, its a good idea to check the crankshaft seals at the same time to prevent doing the job twice… DOH!!

Hombre loco decides to overtake a line of traffic as I`m turning left. Ooooooh, I am cross.
Jim

Oh geez my worst nightmare, I am assuming that you are OK?

Phil, that looks like a S2 SE. Correct? When did this shunt happen and do you still have the car today?

Frank

Frank, not mine thankfully… JimJ’s in the UK…

Frank, close but not nearly, remotely close enough. S3 S/E. See lotus-talk-f50/picos-pals-and-driving-moonlight-t35232.html

Hassop? As good a place as any, he jumped down from the rail car. Somethings not right. Who is this dude; Trevor, who runs interesting cars on Sunday mornings? Theres a line up of European sports and the odd sedan but no rolling stock. Turns out the railroad shut down in 66. He was out in Guam then with brother Joe, mom Josie and pop Stan, a major in the U.S. marines. And whats with this Lodus Elarn? 1973 but smart as a Silver Star and as cute as that honey in the coffee shop. If this is dream, he thought, dream on?

Using International Epoxy Gelshield. Takes 5 coats alternating Green & Grey. Great Osmosis protection and hard as Hell!

Hi Kev,
looking good and if you dont mind me asking
did you spray it on,and where did you buy the epoxy
regards and thanks
Paul

Paul, thanks, yes I’m very pleased.
Believe it or not, the epoxy (2 pack) is rollered on. One small mini tray does what you see each time. I use a synthetic mohair roller. The sponge type disintegrate :open_mouth:
I buy it on ebay through pace marine who are very good. It’s about ?26 for 700ml but covers well. You get better smoother results if you flat it off a bit each coat but not really necessary until the final 2 coats.
I was advised to use this because it is non-absorbant like spray filler and seals the fibreglass that you can then use spray filler on top (all this is IMHO) no arguments please.
All the best,
Kev.

I thought all the pictures in this post was lost due to duplicate post…
