It isn`t made by Lotus.
I cannot remember the makers, but they have bought the Lotus name for a limited run. (badge engineering).
It is just marketing although very striking appearance.

The firm’s actually called Kodewa. After the limited license has expired they will use the name PMC for further production,

I think reflection or shadow is making the standard duct look longer. Not that it was always used.
