What did you do to your Lotus today

Black Bumpers are SO stylish… well done Meg

Took a drive through Arkansas, including the Talihena Scenic Byway, the Pig Trail up and back, and up and down Mt. Magazine. A buddy came along in his Viper - we had no trouble staying in front of him.

Steve, you’ve given me a flood of memories! Back when I lived in the Dallas metro I used to chase the curves on those roads on my motorbike whenever I could. The Talimena Scenic Drive area was especially familiar as I had a friend I knew from a BMW motorcycle forum who lived at the bottom of the hill in Big Cedar where the north/south highway crossed the drive. He hosted gatherings for BMW-riders twice a year at his place. Great times that I will always remember fondly!

It’s warning up, I am having another coffee and deciding if I need a hat or not …

You do!! You’ll ruin your Barnet otherwise!!

If he still has some left
Surely it’s a bit brass monkeys on the moors at this time of year.
Alan

Not a lot of hair left and what I have is pretty scruffy anyway thanks to lockdown barber… Me
It’s currently sunny and about 11c so almost tropical, so think the green baseball cap will suffice… Will let you know if I regret that decision.

Besides, we’re tough oooop North

I ain’t got much fluff either and have just been on smashing run in cloudy Somerset. New engine with Franks NF tubes is absolutybleedin magic. Very difficult not to drive like a hooligan!!

Turns out I live in a micro climate… Anywhere within 3 miles seems to be peeing down, while we have a bit of drizzly moor grime making the local lanes a bit entertaining
Going to need a wash now to get rid of some organic matter.

Baseball cap sufficed…( I cheat though as have a wind deflector  )

Enjoy them when you can folks, even if just for a couple of hours…
We could be plugging them in future …

As a Yorkshire man couldn’t you manage a cricket cap?

I’m still wearing bobble hats sans bobble. :unamused:

Drove the 7 to work…

…then came home to a box of parts. Is it sad to be excited about a box of old bits?

Fabulous picture of the Se7en

Boxes of Lotus bits are one of the best things in life  - certainly not sad except for people who dont understand what a Lotus is really all about and are missing out on the joy of driving a Lotus

cheers
Rohan

Mmmmm. Oil pan…

John

“Mmmmm. Oil pan…”

No - it is a sump… :unamused:

The baseball (Rounders  ) cap is colour coordinated BRG with ACBC badge…
A blue YCCC would just clash

Was also worried that a flat cap would blow off & tempt the whippet to leap from the car to give chase…

Have noticed that lockdown 2 shopping trips appear to be getting longer

Lotus parts manual says that it’s an “A026E6083 (2731E6675) Oil Pan” :stuck_out_tongue:

Now that’s Sumpthing to talk about in the Pub.
Alan

Oh no, a sump pun! :open_mouth:

Oh no, confusion in Lotus literature… The workshop manual says sump…

I would normally pop down the pub to work out such a conundrum but we are unfortunately denied this option of old fashioned social media
