Has anyone got a picture showing the route of the starter cable immediately after it passes through the firewall? Reason I ask is my cable has a bend to allow it to traverse the bulkhead to the solenoid - so far so good - but behind this (I mean above the glovebox) there is another right angle about 5 inches away. Does this mean it is meant to rest on the glove box? Without the dashboard fitted it’s hard to be sure.. anyway, that bend will direct it to the A pillar where it can follow the normal route. It just looks odd, hanging in midair like that.
