Is it possible to reinstate signatures, apologies if there is a setting that I’m missing?

Are you looking for something specific?

All the information we have displayed historically is available by clicking on the user’s avatar. The information has just been relocated to make the screen less cluttered.

We display much more information than in the old signatures. For Example:

A typical signature has:

• The person’s URL
• Location
• Their local time
• When was the last time they posted
• When they joined
• How much they have read recently
• Badges, with rank showing first.
• And the ability to message the person.

Here is my signature. This is a completed profile view of the signature:

In addition to the items listed above:

• Background image
• My Public Name vs just a username.
• Profile description
• Feature Topic - This is great if you have a historical topic about your Elan.

Thanks for that Jeff, what I was referring to specifically was an actual signing off signature that is automatically inserted at the bottom of a post.
I sort of got out of the habit of signing off because the old system did it for me, now I miss seeing peoples signatures at the bottom of their posts, although some people do sign off manually. The information in the avatar links doesn’t always show a name, so I had to call someone “treacle” this morning, although this can be a term of endearment:-)
