Has anyone here removed cam follower sleeves themselves without using an oven or having them machined out?
The manual refers to cutting a groove adjacent to the scallop and using a chisel to remove.
Has anybody done this and how did it go? Are there any photos of the job being done?
I want to have a go at removing some but don’t want to cause myself more trauma than I need to, particularly by causing damage to the head.
Are there any other removal methods that anybody has used?
I have seen the elantrikbits post on this subject with Colin’s helpful videos.
I’m wondering if there is anything anyone here can add to this
