Well its not much now. I have just got the servo back from being repaired so its bleed the brakes and go over all the usual MOT type items. Unfortunately I think it could really use some time on the road to get everything bedded in, brakes etc.
Its been quite an interesting project especially as the brake master cylinder and servo have both failed without driving a yard. Trouble is I am still discovering what has been overhauled and what hasnt. I’m optimistic though. The car itself has been off the road for 17 years, although not in my ownership, so it was never going to be straightforward.
Sounds somewhat similar to my experience. I obtained my +2 from the original owner who has disassembled everything under the hood back in 1980. He carried it around the country (I’m in the USA) for 25 years before his wife finally convinced him to sell it. Took me 4 months to get the thing put together and get it started, but it was worth every knuckle I chipped off.
I still run into occasional things that need some work (replacing all 4 shocks right now), but the thrill of getting it back on the road was unmatched. I had to do the brake master cylinder as well, but my servos are still fine and seem quite powerful.
