With the old set up I used to get email messages on my phone that a PM had arrived. Since the migration this is not happening and I have missed a couple of messages. Is it possible to reinstate this or is there a “tick-box” somewhere?
The email settings are in your profile. The default is to send emails. The video shows where to find the email settings in your profile.
If that is setup correctly, then I would suggest checking the following:
Have you whitelisted our email addresses. In most email systems, add our email addresses to your contacts. This will stop the emails from going to a spam/trash folder. The email addresses to add are:
Have you changed your email address recently. It is important to keep your address current to receive the emails.
Notification settings. The forum software is smart. If you receive a notification while online of something happening, the system will not send you an email. So if you receive notice of an new PM and you look at the notifications in your profile, it will not send the email.
