Looking for an original soft top, any condition ( but better is best) however must have the three metal plates at the front of the hood.

Mark - you can make your own - unserrated hacksaw blades are very similar dimensions.

Mark, there’s actually 4 metal plates at the front; two short ones and two long ones. Mine measure .75mm, or thereabouts. I have a hacksaw blade and it measured .60mm, probably close enough.

Hi,
Just an update.
I’m probably going to get one made as I have found out that the one I have is far too noisey on a sustained run. It has the plastic bar instead of metal fixings and a seam that sticks up into the air at the front. Other than that it is almost perfect (not padded). I have no complaints over the quality just a few design flaws. It is the one supplied by Sue Miller just to be upfront and 8 believe that are the best on offer.
So again is anyone has an original, however beat up I’m interested.
