Hi guys, The threaded hole in the block for the oil pressure sender (electrical, not capillary) is 1/4 inch and the thread on the sender itself is 1/8 inch NPT. So an adaptor is needed and it has to be a 90 degree elbow to avoid the sender fouling the rubber cooling hose from the heater to the block.
I have searched extensively and cannot find a supplier that has a 90 degree adaptor, 1/4" male to 1/8" NPT female.
Does anyone either have one or know where I can get one?
Hi Andy,
I cannot help with the angle adaptor, but are you sure you need it.
Mine is fine with a straight fitting and with the oil pressure tube passing under the heater hose.
It does just barely touch the hose but is not a problem.

Thanks Eric - hadn’t thought of that - gives me another option. on my engine, it still looks tight though, the line of the coolant hose runs pretty much across the line of the hole in the block
Thanks also Scott - that part is exactly what I need. i’ve asked for a quote. If its stupidly expensive, then I may have to do it with more than one connector, as you say.
