Just ordered this from Blackwell books in UK for ?17
… does anyone know why they are up on Amazon for ?135 and also appear on Ebay from time to time for silly money 
It looks ot be excatly the same book albeit a recent reprint. The hardback version is ?24 at Blackwells but currently out of stock
If you get the book, please let me know! 3 months ago I ordered this book from a big online book shop (forgot the name) in the USA and paid with paypal. Weeks later I received the message the book was sold out and won?t be reprinted. At least they sent the money back.
Since then, the prices on ebay went up steadily.
Saw the same thing a couple of years ago when the book went out of print…
Worth contacting the publishers which I think are motorbooks…

The paperback version is in print (recently reprinted), the hardcover is not. Some booksellers may not be aware of this, or it may be a different ISBN.
If you have your heart set on hardcover, then you have to be willing to pay market for a used one. You’re right about silly money considering it’s the same book, but what the market will bear is what any sensible seller would be expecting to get.
