Action: Improved dirt shields having more rigidity, thereby lessening flexing, are now being fitted in current Production. Cars already in Service can be modified as follows:
  1. If reference is made to the illustration, it will be seen that the shields have been shortened, flanges straightened and the front outer clips repositioned.
  2. Before replacing the shields, apply body underseal to the lower surfaces of the wishbones where they contact the dirt shields.
