I have decided to sell my Lotus Elan / Plus2 five speed gearbox.
The box has been stripped and rebuilt with new parts as required, it is in excellent, ready to install condition. Details of the rebuild can be checked with the gearbox professional I used, if required.
It has had replacement bearings, new gear synchros and gaskets.
It is just the gearbox on its own, no bell housing, propshaft, gearbox or chassis bracket. I may be able to include a 5 speed gearbox lever and Speedo drive, if the full price is paid,

The Lotus 5 speed has a unique bell housing and tail housing for that matter. Basically you cannot fit a 4 speed box to a Lotus 5 speed bell and tail housing. The mounting bracket will fit, but it needs to be tuened through 180degrees and the mounting holes modified/added. Speedo drive etc will fit, gear lever won’t.
