Thanks everyone for the feedback…followed the wires from the dash switch and found the lead that runs to the fuse block disconnected…so thats why no power to fan…there are 2 available prongs on the fuse block however and im not sure which one to use or if it makes a difference…its a push on prong…im not electrically inclined so any help would be appreciated…looked in the workshop manual and it all greek to me…
the manual does confirm that all federal sprints with strombergs came with this 2 fan set up and actually shows a diagram
thanks all,

David,
As I recall, one fuse is hot all the time. The other is hot only when the ignition is on. Take your pick. If the fan and Otter switch work and you use the circuit that is hot all the time, the fan will continue to run after you stop the engine and will not stop until the Otter switch cuts the path to ground. If you use the other circuit, the fan will stop working when you shut down the engine. If this doesn’t help, why don’t you ask one of the Amish to help out?
thanks Frank ,appreciate the reply…living in south carolina now and the Amish dont use electricity…lol
Thanks.
David
