I have made a number of changes to my Elan S3/4 wiring that includes the following:
Splitting supplies into a number of fused 12v supply circuits (6 permanent, 6 Switched and 4 Auxiliary)
Adding Battery Cut Off switch (to 12v -ve supply)
Adding Electric Radiator Fan relay, thermostat and over ride switch (with indicator lamp)
Adding Reverse lamp switch and combined handbrake/rev lamp warning light
Adding instrument lights to temp/oil pressure and fuel gauges
Removing control box (‘Dynomator’ now fitted so control box redundant)
Wiring in new fuel pump, inertia cut off switch and fuel pump isolator switch.
I would like to update a standard S3/S4 wiring diagram to show these modifications for my car.
I have access to AutoCAD 2016 (drg or dxf files) and SolidWorks (although 3D prt files probably not required!)
I tried opening the CAD wiring diagrams in the Technical Section but just get an error code.
Can anyone help before I’m forced to start from scratch.
I’m more than willing to share any drawings I produce if it helps others thinking about doing the same thing.

I did see the Wiki page. I have been searching for a complete FED S4 and have found a couple. I am keeping the car as close to original as possible.
The wiring diagram you had does show some changes I would like to make but that is later. I want to get the car back on the road and schedule (ha-ha) some updates later.
The car was off the road for most of it’s life, like a year on then a winter shunt. 5,599 original miles. New galvanized frame, new paint and just reassemble of body. Chassis done, engine rebuilt, dash done. Just finishing the wiring loom today. Only problem is getting bullet connectors apart. Cleaning them and adding di-electric to keep corrosion at bay.

I’m trying to convert the PDF version of CAD file to SVG so that I can make it interactive, i.e show specific circuits. I’v done this before with SVG wiring diagrams. It’s difficult to do from the PDF which I converted to SVG but the components and individual wires are difficult to find in the mass of elements the conversion creates so it is a lengthy process. Would you be able to send me the CAD version as this might be easier to work with.
Unfortunately I only used the pdf file I obtained from Lotuselan.net to print A3 circuit diagrams for my S4. I haven’t got around to reproducing them into CAD drawings.
