Dash layout - ignition/bonnet release

More mysteries concerning the dash layout:

In this picture, I’m assuming the D-shaped hole circled in yellow is for the ignition switch?

If that’s for the ignition switch, then I wonder what this extra ignition switch (with steering lock) was doing in the box of spares that came with the car. Does this look like a Lotus item?

In the first photo, could the hole circled in red be for the bonnet release? Or is it for the odometer reset cable?

How about the hole far left, circled in green?

Thanks!

Hole on dash is, normally, bonnet release but looks a bit large. Other one is for odometer reset. If you put bonnet release onto the metal below dash then you’ll find it can’t take the pull needed to open bonnet - it will bend.

My +2 has the steering lock/ignition switch and, the bonnet release was through a too large “D” shape hole! It had a large washer behind to stop it pulling through and a rubber grommet in the hole to keep it centred…
I figured the steering lock was a fitted on later models and the release moved to the redundant hole,
S130 spec? Too much expence to respec the dash?

Ah, that would explain the oversize hole. If I have a new dash made, I can easily ask them to make that hole the correct size for the bonnet release. Thanks.

Yes, that’s a standard Lotus column mounted ignition switch.
