Concours des Légendes at Wilton House 19-21 June 2026

I am delighted to announce that my Sprint will be appearing at the inaugural Concours des Légendes at Wilton House on Friday 19th June 2026 from 1000-1700 hrs.

More than simply a concours event, Concours des Légendes celebrates the stories, craftsmanship and personalities behind some of the world’s most extraordinary automobiles – and I’m happy to be involved in this first edition. My car and I shall be part of the Hagerty Owners’ Stories display.

I look forward to sharing both the car and its story alongside an incredible line-up of collectors, enthusiasts and automotive legends. If you are attending on the Friday, please do come along and say hello to me and have chat.

Congratulations, Tim

I have to say I think the Concours de Legends at Wilton House could have a great future.

First off, it is a simply stunning setting. There is ample acreage for future expansion. The grounds are gorgeous. The trees are fabulous. The gardens immaculate. The ambiance on Friday was wonderful.

Then there are the cars. All sorts for all sorts! Some of them were very unusual. There were not very many 911s - hooray! One or two displayed cars were in lovely used condition, rather than polished to within an inch of their lives.

Not too many folk on the Friday; enough, just not at all crowded. The discussions I attended were very interesting and worth spending 45 mins listening to experts on the classic scene.

It looked like there were decent numbers attending on Saturday and Sunday, if social media posts are anything to go by.

I displayed my Sprint in the Hagerty Owners Stories section. It was off to one side and not well attended. It did not help that the owners cars, perhaps a dozen, were corralled into a section with a low picket fence around it. That must have seemed somewhat unwelcoming.

However, a very good day I felt and worthy of consideration next year.

Unfortunately my Sprint suffered a head gasket failure and had to be trailered back home. Hey ho!
