Okay, maybe he didn’t say that, but he certainly built cars that way.

OK then, thanks to both, scratch one off my lengthy worry list. Tom
yes it’s all quite tight in that area. outer wishbone bolts have to have pretty minimal heads to clear the wheel rim. position of tyre weights needs to be checked. A good idea to check the run-out of the various components, particularly if you pull the driveshafts.
I thought exactly the same when I first got under mine Tom - they all do that!
