Enjoy,

Obviously not a lightweight 26R…it took six of them to push it!

Tim

Sorry guys,
I am awaking that post .
The link is now dead .
But if one of the 3 hundreds download that , He will make my day if still had it .
In that case I will explain how to send it to me…
Any one !?!
Christian.

weeelllll I thought they only made ‘them’ for 63 and 64 ------not 65 or66 or 61 and 62 —just 63 and 64 ----but what do I know e

1st 26R left factory on 25/2/64

last 26R left factory on 23/7/66

so they didn’t make ‘‘them’’ in 63 your assumption in your post re your knowledge is correct.

WEELLL —IF LOTUS DID NOT JUST PRODUCE THE CARS FOR 2 YEARS --[63 AND 64 ] THERE MUST BE DOZENS WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED BY YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ----AND THE 96 PRODUCED NUMBER IS INCORRECT ------A VERITABLE GOLD MINE —BUT I DONT CONTROL THE 26R REGISTRY ----ED

wow I knew it, mine must be a real 26R not a clone…    :sunglasses:

WWEELL Gordon —Im sure yours as much a 26R as the ones about to be discovered and put on the market -like long lost suddenly discovered cars -ed

absolutely right, seems there are far more than were ever built by the factory!

and every one hawked for 90’000 pounds plus ----a VERY lucrative business for some ----but what do I know???hopefully the market will become glutted with 26Rs and they will become devalued to the point where the ‘entrepreneurs’ will have picked enough pockets and will move on to another marque–I would not buy another one except the baskets I bought for 4k Cdn became a nice car -after 4 years work --ANYONE who buys a "26R "is liable to a questionable car in spite of race history or providence which can easily be reproduced and with the big money involved you can be sure someone cant resist --BTW there are reports of Clark and Hill and 'the boys RACING 26r S IN 1963 -BUT AGAIN ----WHAT DO I KNOW???e

Christian you bounder —you have done it again – -e

Here we are …
You guys are incredible !
I was just asking for that f…g movie file… Nothing more !
That tell us the story of a japanese team that entered an BRG S1 26R in a race in Japan, in1965.
The car is seen several times , being pushed, on the starting grid, lapping for victory (in its class !?!)
From now , should I say that I only expect news from the one who cleverly downloaded that !?!
I really have no need to have its chassis #, its PO historic, the number of engine exchange, etc… I just want to enjoy these images. So please, keep digging, some one should have it !
Cheers,
Christian.

Christian,

I miss that video as well , the best part for me is all the cowboy hats on the Carrol Shelby wannabe’s ( or Watanabe’s , your call)

George -

Sorry, no translation, but who was that guy in the Cowboy Hat? Karrol Shelby-san, or Smokie Eunikio?
