I purchased this as a rolling project in 2008. This car has followed has followed me through a university degree, four house moves, two children, several jobs and starting and running my own business, 18 years in total .
I’ve made sure this car is as original as possible with hard work tracing down many rare parts over the years, fortunately the car was very complete when purchased.
Optional improvements
Tony Thompson Racing –
- Fast Road Springs and shock absorbers
- Fast road full exhaust
Non-asthmatic airbox
Original radiator restored to 4 cores and modern electric fan
WOSP hi-torque starter
Electronic ignition
Electric fuel pump with regulator
Fuel tank, improved breather setup and anti-spill valve.
(all original parts, airbox, starter, fan and more are included. I have a very large box of paperwork and receipts I do not want to tally up, my ownership has been a lot of fun).
Car is currently stored in Aberdeenshire but can be viewed in Aberdeenshire or Perthshire by arrangement.
Just back from a 45min spin around the country roads and it really is a great car but I need to focus on restoring my '65 Series 2
.

N.B. The wheels need a good polish and for the keen eyed the Octa-nuts will go back on for the official for sale photos.
