I’m new to the group. Have a long standing (like many people) restoration that has been going for 20 years. The car finally being put together and we are figuring out where the championship badges vs. super safety badges etc.are to go. Can someone with a super safety Elan with correct badge locations takes pictures of their car and where the badges are to go?

I have a “Super Safety” as well. When I bought my car the SS badges were mounted in front of the doors midway up of the door two to three inches from the edge of the door. The Championship badges were mounted aft, about 4-6 inches from the very back of the rear quarter panel and about three inches above the bumper where it wrapped around the quarter panel.
As will all things Lotus, the exact location may vary.

The SS badge is 2 1/2" from door opening and 6 3/4" above chrome strip

Mine is a Super Safety and I didn’t even know it came with badges that stated as much.
