Has anyone else have the same problem as I? My work seems to keep me from my Lotus. How does one solve this problem?
Yep! just give up work!

I integrate it with my work. That’s the only time I read the forums
If you are a mechanical engineer:
get you colleagues to help you rebuild, call it ‘proffessional development’ and get paid to work on your lotus

Since I am working with reci?nditioning of cars the only thing I can incorporate with my work is the finish of my car. Still, it seems a bit silly o do that before it runs as it should. Damned. I’m getting kind of tired of Vauxhalls, Volvo’s and VW’s. They just don’t have IT. Maybe I should become an engineer, just to be able to do just that - rebuild my car and call it “development”. Sounds nice enough!

I just up and quite my job to finish the restoration of my Elan. Not recommended unless you have someone to take care of you and fund the restoration!
I’m now searching for a job to fund an addition to the Lotus fleet.
Ed,
What is the state of your restoration? I seem to have lost track.

When my +2 is finished, hopefully early October only 6 months late and ?2k over budjet, I am getting rid of the eurobox and using the Lotus for my 8500PA business miles, should keep a smile on my face and grease under my finger nails!
Any Tips for extra reliability?
