Which shock absorbers - fast road use?

I’m going for adjustable spring platforms and new shocks all around on my Plus 2 rebuild. The rear will have 2.25" springs.

Can anyone advise:

1 Which adjustable front shocks and rear strut inserts to go for?

2 What length and rating 2.25" springs for the rear to provide a reasonable range of height adjustment.

3 Ditto, front springs

Car is for fastish road use and I am determined to get the car looking right as well as handling nicely

Too many Plus 2’s seem to ride too high at the rear which seems to me to look ‘wrong’

Cheers, Jono

I have a similar set up on my S4 +0

I got all the bits from TTR. They do different springs depending on use e.g. race, fast road and normal. Most importantly they supplied the front units ready assembled as you need special tools to do this yourself.

Give Stuart at TTR a call.

I bought the front and rear kit from TTR. Very easy to adjust the ride and height you want. Just tell Tony or Stuart what you want from the car and they will supply the right parts.
The only ‘complaint’ I had was that the “C” spanner designed for the fronts did not for the rears as the spring seat diameters were different. Grinding a little off the inside soon made it a common fit.

Jono,

I have TTR’s fast roas suspension setup, both front and rear on my Sprint.
Excellent !

There was a rideheight issue particular to my car, but easily solved by different spring lengths - all easily resolved by TTR.

Tony will give you all the technical help you need to decide the details.

One point though. You need to first decide your rim/tyre setup and then spring lengths can be set to suit, since there may be wheelarch clearance issues to consider ( though likely much less so, on a +2).

Regards,
Stuart.
