You don’t need a pressure regulator for this pump, and it’s also quiet. Always use a good filter on the intake side. Suction height is not a problem.
In my Elan since 1993 without any problems One in a Mitsubishi with a carburetor in the 90s, ran more than 200k km until I sold the car. I can only recommend it.
