Not sure if it ‘correct’ but I used a pot of grey from QED. I expect the Mattys, Burtons and Kelvedens of the world will also be able to help. 250 ml pot will do two engines easily.

I’ve used “Ferguson Grey” engine enamel in a spray can, its very close to the original colour and you should be able to get it at most automotive parts suppliers.

ooops i used old ford blue on both mine
The color I used was listed as New Ford Grey here in the US. It matched perfectly until I shook the can up, at which point it was just a hair light in color, but you couldn’t tell where I had feathered it in to the original paint that remained on the engine. The only way to tell was comparing two engines right next to each other.

I also used New Ford Gray number 216 from Plasti-Kote. $5 for 11 oz. and I’m sure I didn’t use half of it on one block and pan. Of course, most of the block is buried in an Elan, but what you can see looks great!

“Ferguson Light Grey Enamel” is the name used in Denmark - its even named in English and I bought mine from a company dealing with agriculture machines and acessories.
