Tony Thompson Racing Konis

Dear All,
Have just fitted limited stroke Koni shock inserts to the rear suspension of my S4. These were purchased from TTR some time ago and are fitted along with TTR solid drive shafts to avoid universal joint lock up.
My previous shock inserts were located, centrally, in the top mount by castellated nuts that were machined to fit neatly into the top mount and stop any lateral movement.
The Konis, however, were supplied with plain nuts. There is nothing to centralise the shafts in the top mount, and I fear that they may move around.
Have I read somewhere that spacers should have been supplied with the Konis to ensure correct fitment?
Thanks,
Colin.

I am planning to order the same rear set-up and I asked about this recently. I believe they call them top hat bushings, and they include them with the purchase of the inserts.

Dan

I got mine a couple weeks ago, and the bushings were included.

Colin,

Check around in the box(s) Stuart , Tony and Co are usually very good about sending over everything you need to make the job happen( Mine came with the sleves) . If you can’t find them I am sure a phone call is all it will take to make it right .

George

This is the sleeve needed to match the Lotocone:

Thanks Guys,
I suspected that something was missing, so dived back into the boxes a while back and found nothing. I will contact TTR and ask the question.
Regards,
Colin.
