Has anyone successfully rebuilt their seat tracks?
Are the rubber pads and rubber for the rollers available?
Has anyone had success with painting the tracks? Should I try to have them re-galavanized?

Not absolutely certain about the +2 but I got a new set of stainless steel runners for my Sprint from Susan Miller, they are really good quality and will never turn to the rusty remnants which were fitted before- who says Elans don’t rust?!!

I do not know if the Elan and +2 share seat tracks. My seat tracks consist of runners and a “platform” with the fore aft lever and attachiment for the seat frame.
I may be able to get the frame re-galvanized but as it is assembled, galvanizing may sieze the works.
If I cannot have them regalvanized I will blast and paint them.
