The seats in my S4 are sagging ,they are not ripped and in good condition .I have spoken to Matty& Neils they don`t do any refurbishment kits .Someone on this list must have refurbished their own seats, where can I get the correct materials ?,what do I need ? should I loose weight ???
The driver’s seat in my +2 is doing the same, otherwise vgc, but I am now sitting on a bar at the back of the bottom cushion. Didn’t feel it when I first bought the car but can now. They are the older type of +2 seats not the new ones. And I have lost weight!

I added foam to my drivers seat by simply removing the hog rings that hold down the upholstry and stuffing a 1" thick foam, shaped in the size of the seat, in the seat, on top of what was already there. It really helped. I think I re-used the same hog rings. I don’t have hog ring pliers and remember struggling a bit the reassembly.

Do you think you should lose weight?
I stuck half inch thick high density foam in my S1 seats between the support springs and vinyl. I got the sheet foam from an outdoor/camping supply store, it’s for sleeping on in cold weather. Removing the seats was easy, then I cut a section to fit and slid it up in there. It sounds like you may need some simple metal repair as well, it’s all just bent wires and clips… Maybe also time to check for a rusty seat frame, that, as well as body weight, can become a safety issue.
AFAIK Sue Miller has the seat fabric in stock, give her a call.
