Position of Hand Brake Tree on the chassis

Hi Everyone,

On my Spyder chassis the position of the hand brake tree is off-set to the right. I assume that this is to allow the arm that connects the tree to the hand brake cable to extend beyond the differential to allow a straight pull by the hand brake. However, for a LHD car where the hand brake is on the left-hand side and the cable runs down the left side of the chassis (I assume) and to the left-hand side of the differential the hand brake cable has to snake around the back of the differential. This brings me to my question: is the hand brake tree off-set to the left in LHD chassis. If not what is the routing of the cable to function correctly?

Mike

Bad assumption! The cable still runs on the RHS of the chassis & the tree remains in the same position.
