Searching any lotus site for keywords like Pinchin-Johnson or Lotus Paint Codes will get you a wealth of information. It helps if you also know the color name you’re interested in, or the “L” paint code from the VIN plate.
This is the hard way to get there, unless you don’t have access to a sample of the color you want. Paint technology has moved on to a point where this simply isn’t necessary to get where you want to go.
If you have the color you want in hand (or on a mobile part like bonnet or door), the easiest way to get more of the same is to finish the smallest mobile part you have to the right shine, etc. and haul yourself off to any paint dealer with the part. They only need about a three-inch square to scan what will be a near exact match. This frees you from having to purchase paint from a supplier that supports the original Lotus colors from their formulas, although these suppliers do exist.
Scanning is also a much more likely way to get a good match if you’re trying to avoid painting the whole car.
Glasurit still lists mix data for some of the Lotus colors–for sure the 60’s yellow and carnival red, in urethane–available in US through English Color, maybe in Canada or slip into US! Gordon Sauer
