Hi,
I wish this project was in the US, I’d be all over it! I really would like an S1 again.
The sentence above caught my eye. Are you referring to the Latice frame? By saying ‘sill’ are they something less than a full Latice? My Latice frames are rotted away for the lower 3”-4” and I wonder if by referring to ‘sill wires’ there is some repair option that is less than the whole frame, and if so where can the be acquired?
Good luck with the sale,
Ian
Ian, I have a DHC Sprint that was left outside for the first part of its life and my lattices are badly rusted as well. There are a number of threads on here about replacing either the full lattice or just the lower part. It seems to be a miserable job, and I keep putting it off.
I had full lattices made in stainless by Spyder a couple of years ago. I have not see part lattices available. The threads about part lattice replacement used home-brew lattices made up from steel rod.
Good luck.
I know new lattice are available, but not inexpensive, and then getting them to the US would add insult to injury! Probably why home built solutions have been sought in the past.

Worth a bump I’d say. Seen it on eBay and looks like a great project. I’d love to have it myself but too many projects ongoing unless anyone wants an M100 and a Type 75 Elite
Can you post the link to eBay? Don’t seem to be able to find it.
