Library - Lotus Service Bulletins

I’m liking the Library section, though I can see it could get unwieldy. A few thoughts…

1 - I havent found it, yet, but is there an easy way to see a list of tags in use? Might help avoid near duplications.

2 - Noting a few LSBs in the Library made me think… I’m sure others, like me, have a number of LSBs we’ve digitized (I have a lot more on paper but could work to digitize over time). As they get added, it might be helpful if we had a general structure for topic naming and tagging. “LSB# - Date Issued - Title” with tags for cars covered (S1, S2, Plus2, etc) and major parts (engine, chassis, front suspension, carbs)

3 - along the lines of #2 - maybe a sticky in the Library that outlines ideal naming and tagging conventions for uploaded resources to facilitate organization and searching?

Or is all this unnecessary given the capability of the new search function?

All good questions.

  1. In the left column, there is a section called tags. At the bottom of the list is an option called “All Tags.” This will take you to all the tags and show the number of topics assigned.

  2. At one time, I had LSBs in the library. I then moved them into the Shop Floor section. I have used the “Lotus Service Bulletin” in the title and listed the information within the body text. The search engine should find it.

I have not spent much time in this area other than migrating topics. I am open to suggestions as this grows.

Thanke Jeff. I’ll keep poking around to get a sense of what you have where, and maybe try to upload a few resources I have into the Shop Floor or Library as appropriate - and if I have any ideas from that will let you know.
