Hmm, the infamous Bolt On / Knock On!
Here are a few photos from our annual New Year Day drive here in Southern California. Needless to say, the weather was near perfect. Our next drive will be in the Spring so shout out if you want to come along in your Lotus or other pre 1974 car.

Off topic but how often do you meet one of these on the road. He was most appreciative of the Elan too but then, of course, I blew him off (not even in my dreams)!

Very nice. My S4 FHC looks identical - and your drop-head is the colour my S4 used to be… 
Thanks- do you know what that shade of red is called? I’ve bought all sorts of touch-up pots based upon what it says on this forum and in Lotus publications and none of them seem quite right. The nearest I got was a Jaguar colour. I’m not at all precious about this project car but it has all sorts of chips and nicks and if I could touch them in I’d perhaps feel less guilty about not, so far, having tackled any of the major jobs.
