Having stripped-out the dash to fit a new replacement, the thin gaskets around all the instruments had gone brittle with age and broke into pieces.
Any ideas where new gaskets can be obtained, or suggestions on alternatives?

If you want to use the original style flat gaskets for your instruments try Holdens (www.holden.co.uk). They are shown on page 120 of the catalogue if you have the hard copy.

Gary,
Thanks for the info.
Looked at Holden and thay seem to be another good source for parts. I have now added them to my favorites list.

I have two sets of smiths dial gaskets for the elan +2 s130
there are 6 small square section gaskets and two large in the set and they are still in the original smiths plastic wrapping. I used a set on my car and they fit and look very good. If anyone wants any make me an offer.
put me down for a set Matt!!
