Hi everyone,
I like this format, much like many other forums I’m on. Hope to see everyone migrate over here. So Jeff, what are the other titles you’ve chosen for us, besides Newbie. How many posts does it take to get out of Newbie status?

How about this for the ranking:
Master: Persons who are able to do proffesional work and are able and willing to teach others the same skill. (500+ posts)
Scholar: Persons who have learned a skill and are able and willing to instruct others in how to do it. Scholars are still working on polishing their skill and work towards creating professional level works. (100 to 500 post)
Journeymen: Persons who have selected a particular craft and are studying how to make it. (25 to 100 post)
Apprentice: Usually beginning members in the group. They have expressed an interest but as yet do not know what aspects they would like to pursue. (0 to 25 post)
Jeff,
I like the Lotus approach best. Also hate to blatantly copy, but another forum has New-tral
First Gear
Second Gear
Third Gear
Fourth Gear
Flat out
Whatever you decide to do, will be fine by me. I’d like to keep it Lotus and/or car oriented.
Another thought:
Dry engine
One drop
two drops
three drops
four drops
Blown engine
Thanks,
Greg Z.
It’s too bad we don’t have icons of the laurel wreaths that ACBC used to put on the F1 car wings, one for each victory that year. Newbies would have one laurel, with one additonal added for each post milestone.
Just a frustrated Lotus F1 fan, I guess.
