front shocks

hi,

can anyone tell me what the difference is between the front shock on the elan and the plus two?
Is the outside size different or is the difference just the inside the shock?
I am looking for some koni’s for my plus two but koni does only supply front shocks for the elan, they discontinued to supply for the plus two but if the outside dimensions are the same I could have the shock revalved to the plus two specs :open_mouth: .
Alternatively are there any other options ?

I tried to fit some plus2 shocks on my S2 Elan and found they were to long, although I could have probably got them in they would have had limited travel.
I have some Elan shocks loose and will measure if you have some plus2 to compare with.

I think you’ll find the spring platform on the plus 2 is a lot further up from the lower mounting bolt,the shocks being longer altogether and not interchangeable.
