I was getting ready for my second spin the the car and tested my headlight only to discovery they had quit working. Glad I checked before I left for the evening. I turned out to be the headlight relay under the dash.
I checked some of the old posts which some stated the relay is required because routed the current around the switch. After checking the schematic the only reason I can see for the relay is to interlock the headlights with the pods. If the pods are down, the headlights won’t come on.
I jumpered the headlight wire(brown/blue) to the switch(blue) and it seems to work fine. Is there any problem in doing this?
Thanks,
Rick
