Hello, I had to do this decades ago and it wasn’t too bad. Having a shop manual of course is nearly an essential, or at least the diagram of the cable route. I removed the assembly from the car, repaired it, put it back in and all was fine. Do you have a shop manual?

Having just completed this very task I have one piece of good advise…definately get a diagram for the layout or take a good look when you pull the window out. Here is the best advise I got from someone way back …when you wind the new wire on to the track leave the wire off of one pulley in the routing, and tighten it all up…then when it is relatively snug, by hand or leverage pull the wire back over the pulley to make a nice tight snug fit. This is so much easier than trying to make it tight while attaching to the winder…hope this helps
