I’m planning to fuel inject my 69 S4SE and would like to use a surge tank / high pressure pump unit mounted in the tank to supply the FI. This avoids an external swirl tank. I don’t want to cut up my existing tank so I’m looking for a source for another tank, either new or used.

I’ve checked with Dave Bean (I’m in the US) and they offer aluminum tank replacements but are out of stock for a while. Any other likely places to check? Or UK suppliers willing to ship to the US? Thanks!

Have you checked with Jay and Jeff at JAE? Last time I checked (admittedly, some time ago), they had a tank available. Their prices are almost always the lowest among “the usual suspects.”

I know they do one for a Plus 2 as i bought one to fuel inject my twin cam

What FI system are you going to use? Are you also changing the ignition to a crank triggered system?
