The 2013 Lime Rock Event was my doing because I lived near there and was a regular attendee.
Now living in Nashville I vote for going to Barber Motorsport Park. Lee Clark at the Barber Museum came 1,000 miles for the 50th at Lime Rock so I bet he would welcome the 60th in his hometown.
I’d go to another event at Lime Rock…
And while we’re on the subject, anyone going to the Lime Rock Historic Festival this year? I’m planning on attending with my Elan… I’ll probably make a separate thread for it as the event draws nearer.

I would be up for a trip to Barber.
In 2013 at Lime Rock, milestone anniversaries were also celebrated for Aston Martin, Corvette,
Cunningham, Porsche 911 and TransAm. Could be a huge event for 2023.

If you’re referring to the dark green S1/S2, that’s a 26R (who’s VIN I can’t recall) which is currently
on display at the Barber Motorsport Museum.

The PR launch was on Wednesday 10th October 1962 at the Ford showroom in Regent Street…(thanks Tim)
The public launch at the Earls Court Motor Show (17th-27th October 1962) according to Motor Sport.
I might even be able to get my project finished by then!
When planning the Lime Rick event I picked 2013 because of a late start and it was 1963 when Elans arrived in the states.
Count me in! I’ll be there. And I’d like to volunteer to assist and/or be a sponsor.
