BRM engine value

A bit hypothetical, but opinions on value welcome!
BRM twin cam value, assuming a genuine product and requiring a full re- build? Assume the CH and block are serviceable and crank/bores have at least 1 size left under/over respectively.
UK located.
Thanks
Malcolm

Hypothetically, would this be a 84— or a 125— engine.

I don’t know those number designations.
If they are engine number prefixes, then neither.
Please elaborate.
Thanks.
Malcolm

I think you would need to be more specific in your description, as any value will depend on spec, added value etc.

Ok, thanks. I’ll see if there’s more information available possibly from the engine number.
I couldn’t find any information on those number designations you refer to please?
Thanks
Malcolm

the BRM plate on the cam cover should hve the BRM type number and serial number designation

Thanks Rohan, that’s helpful

The details on those BRM engine number types are in my book on Twincam engine modifications

cheers
Rohan

Are you selling it…

…or not?

I would have thought ‘value +’ to the car it originally belonged to but no more value than a well built and modded TC by a reputable modern day builder otherwise, unless I’m missing something?
