I recently picked up a used, but excellent, plus two propshaft at Stoneleigh and wish to modify it for my baby Elan. Can anyone give the the correct length from the back face to the front UJ centre ?

In the book ‘The Original Lotus Elan’ by Robinshaw & Ross on page 91
the length is stated to be 21 1/8 inches between universal joint centres.

If you don’t wish to alter the one you have I have an excellent sprint prop out of my own car available after a 5 speed conversion.
