Hi, current 1997 Esprit V8 and 2024 Emira owner and just acquired a yellow1966 Elan coupe. The car is RHD and has been in the US for decades, (1970’s). It was in Charlottesville, Virginia and then North Carolina from about 2015. Does anyone have any knowledge of chassis number 36/5581 by chance? The UK number plate was DDY 390D but has no record on the UK DVLA site. There is also no record found on the Elan registry. Anybody? Thanks and glad to be here.

Thanks! Ha, it’s going to need a bit of work before I’m satisfied, lol. I believe it’s been tracked but don’t know if it’s had any engine work done, hence my request for any information.
