SOLD Yellow over white 1972 Elan Sprint, serial 0230K. US market car, so Big Valve/Strombergs. I am, I believe, the third owner of this car, having purchased it from the estate of a friend. Approx 50,500 miles showing on the odometer, which appears to be accurate. The engine was rebuilt at 45,300 miles in 2012, and a cartridge water pump conversion/modification was done in 2014 at 47,276 miles. The car had been sitting for over a year when I purchased it last summer. Since then, it has had $3900 in service to bring it up to snuff. The carbs and front calipers were rebuilt, a new choke cable was fitted, and fluids were changed. Compression is at 180psi across all cylinders, with less than 5% leakdown. The paint is a respray, but I do not have a record of when it was done. New dash, not an overlay. It’s a really nice driver that sounds great and goes like stink. Sadly, health issues dictate the sale. Happy to answer any questions that I can, and get answers for those that I can’t. SOLD
